First, Mine does not have the crown as pictured. I think I got a fake crown and fake strap. My crown is darker colored but also has a border at the top not shown in the pic. And the fossil engraving on the band is very light. The dial looks exactly as pictured though. But Even if the whole watch is fake I don't care because the dial is still amazing, the whole watch still looks very good and its keeping great time. I mean under 20 seconds for a watch of this price is considered very good. and I'm getting just a little over 10 seconds deviation and I haven't wound the thing since I got it over a week ago. +4 deviation in a day when I first go it and fully wound it! And You can't find a similar style anywhere. Its a shame that Fossil no longer has this series in their current line. I must of looked at 1000 skeleton watches before settling on this one.First of all, even though the crown on mine might be fake. Depending on the lighting and angle it changes from bronze, to brass to rose gold. It seems to be a different color everytime I look at it! The rose gold markers and hands also glimmer and totally change their shine depending on the lighting. This watch looks so good and depending on the lighting it has a different look . Its quite gorgeous. The dial color itself goes from blue to purple, so does the blue in the watch band which goes from bright blue to dark blue to maybe purple. And those markers and hands glimmer with an exceptional polish. I mean this thing can bling. The pictures and videos don't do it justice. The whole watch is like layer upon layer for a real 3d effect. The hands are quite luminous and even if they aren't glowing green you can still see this watch perfectly by moon light with those rose gold markers and big white hands. The markers glow too but it takes alot of light and only for a short while. The hands look floating depending lighting or angle in any lighting. The cut out on the left hand side really reminds me of a dangling chain starting at the 11 oclock marker, seemingly flowing off the top gear which is completely in full view where the power coil is. You can see it as you wind it up. The chain continues to go down the left side and really looks like a chain going through a bicycle derailleur, ending at the balance wheel in a 7 0clock position which is where the japanese are known for putting them. The chinese are known for putting the balance wheel at the 9 oclock position. Again the balance wheel is in full view you can see the red ruby in its center. Another chain like effect is cut out from balance wheel to the 5 and 6 positions and to the middle of the dial. The whole thing is simply yet seems very purposeful and really flows. Unlike most skeleton dials that look like abstract mish mosh, with ugly dark colors and hidden hands you can't even tell the time on. This Fossil watch literally should be the blueprint for a skeleton dial that anyone can appreciate. Its what a skeleton dial should be. I mean the whole contrast of the very open cut out on the left side of the dial to the more solid right side is almost like a nice balanced ying and yang. The outer dial and hours marker are pressed on hanging over the top, and from top to bottom there is layer upon layer that is accented against each other and quite well done, so again really giving it all a 3d affect in a way ensuring any viewers eyes can appreciate its mechanics and understand its intention. When I saw the pictures I thought some of the metal was gray to silver, but it looks like that depending on the lighting. Its so fascinating to look out. Down to the fossil logo under the hour markers at the 12 o clock at its own layer and level to the rest of the watch. Its such a shame that even fossil is not creating such unique and beautiful watches anymore. So if this is a fake, or if its refurbished. I don't care, its extremely well done I hope they keep making them because I want to collect the whole series now.
I love this watch! It's comfortable to wear, looks great and so far keeps great time.
Would like another one if I can find one.
Absolutely love the watch. I don’t like the fact that you have to reset it after you take it off, but that isn’t enough for me to detract a star. Overall, it is a stunning piece of machinery and I recommend it to anyone.
The looks of a watch are always subjective, but I personally love the look of this watch. This watch keeps great time. I keep it on a watch winder when not being worn, so I know that it runs just a little fast, not even a half a minute per day. The silicone wrap on the band's middle link row not only helps the watch stay in place, but gives it a great look, too. This is a rather large watch, but very comfortable. Luminous hands.
